I trained at Ashburton Cookery School and have worked at Daylesford Cookery School, Thyme and River Cottage. Join me for inspiring and relaxed cookery classes in the Cotswolds.
I champion local, seasonal, organic food, so you’ll find the dishes you cook are ingredient-led and simple to recreate. No foams or tuilles, just delicious, homegrown ingredients from the allotment.
As well as regular public classes, I run private classes – unique and designed around your interests. So if you want to cook nothing but sushi or focus entirely on preparing a picnic then we can do that.
Don’t buy more stuff. Buy experiences instead! There are gift vouchers for public and private classes (£50 and £175 respectively) which make ideal presents. And you can add a G&G Cookbook and Growing Guide for just £13.50. Vouchers are valid for 1 year and posted first class.
Join me in the G&G kitchen (Oxfordshire, OX29) for a relaxed cookery demonstration with lunch where I will demonstrate dishes that make the most of the season’s harvest. You’ll eat everything I cook as part of your lunch and head home with a recipe pack, your cooking questions answered and lots of inspiration.
Classes cost £50 and run 11-2pm.
SEASONAL DINNER PARTY
A 3 course feast from start to finish; how to plan ahead and choose dishes that won’t leave you stuck in the kitchen all evening. Dishes are inspired by what’s in the G&G allotment and guaranteed to be beautiful and fret-free.

Three simple and delicious suppers which happen to be healthy. No detox, cleansing, clean mumbo-jumbo here, just wholesome, seasonal food that’s exciting and good for you.

Private classes can take place at G&G HQ or in your own home or holiday cottage and can cover any aspect of cooking you’d like. I will arrive at your home a little before the class starts with all the ingredients you will need and will prepare the kitchen. I’ll talk you through each stage of the cooking, giving tips and tricks along the way. You can either eat the dishes as we go along or you may prefer to prepare everything and then eat it later, depending on the menu. At the end of your class you’ll be left with a host of new ideas and a binder of all the recipes you’ve cooked that day.
Prices start from £175 for a 3 hour class, but vary depending on the number of guests.
Designed around your brief, a bespoke G&G private class is a totally unique experience. I teach individuals or small groups (including corporate) and create a menu based on whatever you’re interested in. Recent classes have been ‘How to Bake’, ‘The 2 Hour Dinner Party’, ‘Nailing Christmas’, ‘The Perfect Roast’ and even ‘I Can Burn Water – Help!’.
